The PRIME R1000-1D is a Class-D amplifier producing unreal power with unmatched efficiency. You simply cannot get a Kilowatt of power from a chassis this small using traditional Class-A/B amplifier designs. The Class-D topology inside the R1000-1D allows the amplifier to produce that much power with an amazing 90% efficiency! The 2-Ohm load mono stability and low frequency bandwidth makes this the perfect amplifier for running subwoofers.
