The new CS 250 s2 Cento subwoofer is the perfect enhancement to every sound system, to fully enjoy the authentic Hertz Sound Experience! The R & D team, always at the forefront in the search for innovative solutions, with unfailing effort, succeeded in obtaining very powerful bass frequencies from ultra-compact sealed enclosures, optimizing all the electroacoustic parameters according to the target set: high performance with boxes starting from 16 l. for the 25 cm (10 in.) CS 250 model. The 2Ω single voice coil configuration offers maximum compatibility with any type of amplification and an enclosure that houses more than one subwoofer. The reduced depth, the compact magnetic group and the lack of rear decompression hole allow the box to be shaped around the subwoofer obtaining a depth close to the one of a speaker for maximum freedom of installation on any type of car. The special cooling system of the six-layer voice coil keeps the operating temperature within an optimal range even in case of extended listening sessions at high acoustic pressure. An innovative system of dynamic fluid optimization and turbulence reduction, obtained thanks to the spider support acting as an air conduct towards the venting holes on the basket, drastically reduces the acoustic distortions generated by the air compression at high excursions. The cone geometry, the suspension and the spider have been designed using FEM (Finite Element Method) simulations to obtain the best performance configuration that guarantees control and low distortions even at high mechanical excursions of the mobile group. The terminal block uses solid push connectors that accept cables up to 8 AWG to offer low wiring resistance and maximum ease of connection even in installations with multiple subwoofers. The subwoofer is also provided with an elegant high resistance ABS plastic gasket that allows the grille to be fixed to finish the installation. The optional CG 250 grille in robust black metal mesh provide total protection for the subwoofer and an appealing look thanks to the Hertz diamond aluminium logo for better integration into the car. Outstanding performance in a compact size , this is the target of Mille Pro car audio subwoofers. On the strength of its know-how acquired with Mille Legend , the R&D team has optimized the production process to offer the “Hertz Sound Experience” to a wider audience using part of the technologies and materials of the flagship line.  The MP 250 D4.3 cone is made by pressing paper pulp with the injection of mineral powders, the same construction technique used for Legend. The V-cone® profile increases rigidity, allowing the cone to function like a piston. Surround materials consist of high-purity IIR-butyl rubber . Like the Legend ML2000.3 and ML2500.3, the Mille PRO subwoofers are built with Boundary Free Surround technology allowing for a greater emission surface with equal diameter, generating higher sound pressure. The compact 6-spoke aluminum alloy anti-resonant basket is the same as the top model ML 2500.3 and contributes to the subwoofer’s mechanical damping, being absolutely transparent to the sound.  The 65-mm 4-layer voice coil is higher than 60 mm  and wound in a TIL-P former, thus delivering high linear displacement. The 4 Ω + 4 Ω DVC impedance configuration improves versatility  to match any amplifier system. The air cooling and decompression system avoids the need for a centre hole on the bottom plate with three advantages: - Better thermal inertia to ensure low operating temperatures during musical transients; - Maximization of the magnetic field induced to the coil with the same overall motor dimensions. Thanks to a greater amount of iron in the pole the likelihood of magnetic saturation decreases exploiting the maximum flux density generated from the magnet; - Possibility to install the subwoofer right on the box wall , taking full advantage of its minimal dimensions. A damping rubber disk, provided with the product, secures the subwoofer to the box and ensures air exchange for the 10 vents on the bottom. The holes behind the voice coil winding and the 10 vents on the bottom plate ensure greater air exchange to the coil inner layers and work in synergy with an innovative assembly system. It forces the air to pass through the air gap to keep the coil operating temperature low, even with the most extreme musical programs. The terminal uses solid push connectors with an antishort circuit cover accepting cables up to 8 AWG to provide ultra-low wiring resistance in low impedance configurations (1ohm).

SS 15 D2 subwoofers featuring 38 cm (15 in.) cone is eager to thrill the enthusiasts with their power. The suspension system reinforced with progressive double-layer spiders keeps the performance constant over time, especially in the heavy use typical of Bass Wars events. Heat dissipation is essential for this type of use and has been maximized thanks to an accurate design. The use of a robust 75 mm (3 in.) dual winding (2 + 2 Ω) voice coil developed in 4-layer configuration on a support with venting holes allows the SS 15 D2 to manage the impressive 2400 W peak power! The basket has been designed for optimal thermal dissipation and high mechanical resistance. The non-pressed paper cone with the addition of cotton fiber is the ideal compromise between stiffness and lightness, essential for a high sensitivity value. Suspension and leadwires are oversized to withstand the very high excursions generated by the massive ferrite engine. Hertz CBA 250 active subwoofer box, with the 10-inch driver, features a dedicated high-performance amplification module that enhances all the passive box technologies, such as the 2S²(2 Sides / 2 Sounds) design, the Plug & Play terminal block and ultra-compact size. The SSP (Sub Smart Plug) terminal block is provided with a single Plug & Play connector to be able to disconnect the box easily and safely. The amplification module, with power outputs of 250W RMS, is developed with he-li technology (high efficiency / low impedance), which thanks to the absence of the DC-DC voltage booster reach the impressive 90% efficiency level, very close to the theoretical limit of the D-Class. The Butterworth low pass filter at 12dB/Oct. with variable cut-off frequency (50-200 Hz) can be bypassed, when used with an external processor with pre-out output dedicated to the sub. The adjustable bass-boost control (0 ÷ 6 dB) at 45 Hz allows the user to emphasize the response on the lower side of the spectrum and the Phase control (0 - 180°) completes the equipment. The high-level speaker-in input on the multi-pole connector eases the integration with OEM audio systems while the low-level input on RCA is dedicated to the connection with after-market sources.
