The PRIME series Component System kits are a new generation of factory replacement speaker delivering authentic Rockford Fosgate sound. The R1682 is a dedicated 2-way coaxially designed speaker utilizing a Mica injected polypropylene cone for extended frequency response and a Mylar® balanced dome tweeter for high sensitivity. The mid-range basket is fabricated with specialty holes to accommodate direct OEM mounting applications.
