Fit and use
This subwoofer is intended for Infinite Baffle use; a mounting baffle is required to isolate front and rear wavelengths. It integrates with the Rockford Fosgate RF Connect app and Color Optix™ controller (PMX-RGB required and sold separately) via Deutsch™ and Amphenol™ connectors. Use the VersaSwitch to select the appropriate impedance for your amplifier and system design.
What to know
The Color Optix lighting controller and app are separate components — the PMX-RGB controller is required for full lighting control. The redesigned M2 Element Ready™ subwoofers bring unmatched reliability and deep, powerful bass, with enhanced responsiveness and superior thermal management. Built to handle any adventure, they were engineered to endure the toughest conditions.
The subwoofers are designed to pair with the Rockford Fosgate RF Connect App and Color Optix™ controller (PMX-RGB required) through its Deutsch™ and Amphenol™ connectors integrated into the basket. To streamline installation, M2 subwoofers are equipped with a VersaSwitch™ to make changing impedance between 1Ω and 4Ω as easy as flipping a switch.
Since this subwoofer is optimized for Infinite Baffle installations, a mounting baffle is required to adequately isolate the front and rear wavelengths.
